The regional workshops will provide local planners and advocates the chance to meet directly with DNR and other resource specialists on conservation mapping in support of PlanMaryland. At the workshops, planners will hear about how the data was developed, the data use for statewide conservation efforts, what guidance is being developed for these resource areas, and how to communicate these efforts to planning boards and elected officials.
